Salt air along the North County coast is hard on metal. Barrio Logan Powder Coating & Sandblasting restores and protects patio furniture, railings, marine hardware and bike frames for customers in Carlsbad, Oceanside, Encinitas and Solana Beach from our shop at 1809 Main St in San Diego.
Coastal Projects We Commonly Coat
- Aluminum and steel patio and outdoor dining furniture
- Balcony, deck and stair railings exposed to ocean air
- Removable boat and dock hardware from Oceanside Harbor and nearby marinas
- Beach cruiser and e-bike frames, racks and accessories
- Gates, light fixtures and architectural accents
Finishes Selected for Salt-Air Exposure
Coastal parts are sandblasted, cleaned and evaluated before coating. For exterior work we use a zinc-free epoxy primer as standard, and marine-grade liquid coating systems are available when a part or environment calls for something different. The right system depends on the material, condition and how the part will be used.
